Clothing
Neutral colors (khaki, olive, tan) for game drives. Avoid bright white and dark blue (tsetse flies are attracted to dark colors). Layers are essential—mornings are cool (15–18°C), afternoons hot (28–32°C). A light rain jacket for unexpected showers. Comfortable walking shoes for boat cruise decks and camp paths.
Health and Safety
Yellow fever certificate is mandatory for entry into Uganda . Malaria prophylaxis is recommended—consult your doctor. Insect repellent with DEET. Sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat. Rehydration salts for hot afternoons.
Camera Gear
A zoom lens (200–400mm for wildlife), wide-angle for landscapes, spare batteries (charging can be limited), and a dust-proof bag. The camp has WiFi, but bandwidth is not suitable for uploading large files—bring extra memory cards.
