Dry Seasons (June–September, December–February)
Best for game viewing. Vegetation is thinner, animals concentrate around water sources, and the Kazinga Channel becomes a wildlife magnet. This is peak season—book accommodation early. Rates at Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp remain competitive: $150 FB for twin/double.
Wet Seasons (March–May, October–November)
The park transforms. Birding is exceptional—migratory species arrive, and the channel fills with waterbirds. Game drives are still possible, but some tracks become muddy. Rates drop. Fewer crowds. The trade-off: afternoon rains are common, and photography light is more dramatic but less predictable.
